She now lives in Minneapolis with her three children and a betta fish named Finny. When not writing or painting she can be found taking walks by the creek or planting magic in her tiny sidewalk garden. Sarah has made full use of her Fine Art degree from Wake Forest University designing greeting cards, painting murals (including murals on the sides of a bookmobile), creating custom artwork and now illustrating and writing books for children.
