"I'm Not Getting in Your Brew!" is a wonderful story about the unlikely friendship between a witch (Little Greenie Curlytoe) and a toad (Harlow), who call out to one another in rhyming verses as they play Hide and Seek. Can you help Greenie find Harlow among the pages of this beautifully illustrated book? "Children, Children, won't you be kind and help me seek out what I cannot find? The woods may be dark and scary too, but it has what I need for my Halloween brew!" (Little Greenie Curlytoe) Little Greenie Curlytoe dreams of leading the coven of witches across the midnight sky on Halloween; however, only the winner of the best witch's brew is granted this top honor. Greenie comes up with a delicious recipe but has trouble catching her most important ingredient. Will Greenie be able to gather everything she needs for her special holiday dish? "Witches, pumpkins, and amphibian amusement make for a captivating Halloween tale." - Kirkus Reviews I've always enjoyed a great Halloween story!  It brings me so much joy to be able to share this book with all of you.  Writing " I'm Not Getting in Your Brew!",  brought back so many wonderful childhood memories of selecting holiday books from the library.  I loved the mystery and the unique characters. "Children, Children, won't you be kind, and help me seek out what I cannot find? The woods may be dark and scary too, but it has what I need for my Halloween brew!" (Little Greenie Curlytoe) Children's book author Carol A. Wulff finds inspiration in nature and the world around her when she puts pen to paper. A few years ago when she stumbled upon an abandoned Victorian house situated high on the hill, she found it intriguing and her mind raced with thoughts about the history and the stories it could share. That experience became the seed for her first ghost story. Carol's debut picture book, I'm Not Getting in Your Brew! , is a whimsical and fun Halloween tale for children about a witch's quest and an unlikely friendship.  Carol thinks a great story is one with lovable characters that make children smile.  She hopes her stories are comforting to kids and that they foster a lifetime love of reading.  When she's not writing playful children's stories, Carol enjoys oil painting landscapes and exploring small towns for all of their treasures.  She lives with her husband in the Western North Carolina mountains where they enjoy the peacefulness, the beauty of the countryside, and the abundance of wildlife.
