The steps for replacing the ignition switch lock cylinder are as follows:
1. Remove the steering wheel guard, find the key above the lock cylinder to turn on the ignition switch, then hold down the key and turn it around. Pull it to remove the lock cylinder.
2. In the driver's seat, close all doors, turn on the ignition switch, and the instrument and battery lights will flash alternately. Next, insert the key into the lock cylinder and turn it to the ""I"" position. If the ignition switch has not been removed yet, use a screwdriver larger than the size of the lock cylinder rod to insert it into the ignition switch first and pull it downwards.
3. The suggestion for replacing the ignition switch is to do it at a professional repair shop when the ignition switch is turned to the ""OFF"" position.
