This book contains images of Great Lumley, Little Lumley, and the surrounding area. It includes pictures taken by Robert Bishop, Michael Bell, Kevin Willis, and many other contributors. This book looks at some older images, but many are from the present era. Michael Bell provided me with many local photos, and Kevin Willis photographed many hidden places in the area and had some excellent images from the 1980s. It also brought back memories of my family's life in the village and those no longer with us. Bill Forth was a good friend who died too early while serving in the police force, and he is remembered in this book. After writing my book about the village's history, I wanted a photographic record of the area. Many of these photographs were taken during the COVID lockdown when I walked miles, seeing wildlife and a much quieter world. I will never forget my mum's 90th birthday when the whole street celebrated the occasion while socially distancing. This book is best viewed as a Kindle book because the images can be seen in their original colour or black and white.
