Rev. Christopher Ervin has been writing inspirational poetry and books since his freshman year at Hampton Institute University (now Hampton University) in 1975. Since then, he has dedicated his life to uplifting men, women, and children across the globe through the written and spoken word, following the direction of God and his deep devotion to Christ. He is the author of ten books, and in the spring of 2026, he will release his eleventh—title to be announced. Rev. Ervin is the founder of God In Action Publications and World Ministries Inc. , and his ministry reaches worldwide audiences through two YouTube channels: Rev. Christopher Ervin , where he shares weekly messages of inspiration and encouragement. His creative projects also include the GIA Greeting Card and Calendar Collection and his weekly journal, published on various platforms, including www.GodInActionMagazine.com. A passionate traveler and photographer, Rev. Ervin weaves his love for imagery into his work—blending poetry, art, and music to uplift and inspire all who read and listen. He is married to Daphine Ervin, and together they have two sons and a host of grandchildren. Rev.
