The title alone describes Rebecca Hasty’s true story: INCOMPREHENSIBLE. It is a saga that begins with extreme childhood poverty and ambles through family atrocities of various magnitudes. As Rebecca reaches adulthood, she meets with additional upheaval. While battling the pain of broken relationships, she struggles to heal her wounds and overcome continued hardships. Straining to find purpose for her life and striving for love and normalcy, Rebecca claws her way through life’s cruelties—to make something of herself—only to meet with unfathomable losses. After hitting rock bottom in life, she looks back at her life and recalls unusual experiences she had and had dismissed because they were incomprehensible. Rebecca comes to understand these experiences were blessings from God, who was by her side every step of the way—trudging with her through worldly muck and mire—and that the Bible was being revealed to her all along, and she now lives to declare God’s glory.
