This kit is made with only aluminum and stainless steel material, and powder coated for interior or exterior applications. This handrail is designed for wet environments such as exterior and bathroom environments. All hardware and matching screws are stainless steel. The brackets are made with stainless steel plate and aluminum round bar for high strength and durability in the elements. The brackets are installed using stainless steel self tapping screws into the base of the aluminum handrail. As such, they can be moved along the base of the rail to insure that they are able to mount directly into wall studs. The brackets come with wood screws to install into wall studs. The handrails are made from 1.5” round aluminum stock tube to allow for comfortable daily use. The projection distance from the face of the handrail to the wall when installed is approximately 3.75 inches. High strength construction meets load requirements of 200lbs or more.
