Why do we claim, embrace, and/ or take ownership over what does not belong to us, including sickness, illness, disease, and afflictions? I hear and see many commercials on prescribed medications for diseases and illnesses, and people say, “MY” …… I even watched a commercial with a woman singing about her Type 2 diabetes, and it was set up as a musical or play from Broadway. Hmmm, why are they celebrating the disease as a joyous occasion? WHY??? We must change out verbiage on how we speak and be mindful what comes out of our mouth…I am reminded of a scripture that says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.” (Proverbs 18:21, AMP). We MUST change our verbiage or language of speech about anything that Yahawah did not create; let’s move forward and speak life! The book implements scriptural practices to overcome afflictions, diseases, sicknesses, and illnesses to stay faithful and positive during the reader's healing journey. Furthermore, it has the author's testimonials of her own journey with breast cancer and how she thrived through it. It focuses on faith, prayer, fasting, staying positive during times of uncertainty, and leaning on Yahawah to help the reader with support as the support team. The book focuses on acts of kindness and Yahawah using others to help you when you least expect it (The Ram in the Bush).
