JB Shaw was ready to get on with his life, a year before he had spent the summer chasing down a group of outlaws that had murdered his mother, father and wife to be. After bringing the outlaws to justice he had returned to independence to settle his affairs and spend the winter now JB was once again headed west along the Oregon trail but soon encountered a small group of settlers in need of assistance. After looking into the beautiful brown eyes of the leader's daughter he couldn't help but agree.
