Warm Tips:
1. With the close-up filter, depth of field gets more limited the closer you get to the subject and can be as little as a couple of millimeters. Using a tripod for stability and turning the camera to MANUAL FOCUS MODE are recommended.
2. The effect of the magnification is much greater with a telephoto zoom than it is with a standard one, so a focal length of over 100mm is recommended – and one of 200mm is ideal.
3. It is not recommended that close-up filters are stacked for use, due to the loss in image quality that you will incur. It is also not recommended to mount various filters to close-up filters as well.
