This adhesive glue bonds quickly. Curing is 20-30 seconds. With thickness of 50,000-60,000 cps viscosity at 200°C, it ensures smooth application and strong bond strength at ≥12 Mpa. HOW TO USE IT. Keep your automatic/manual edgebanding machine running at >12 meters/min, applying 180-250 grams/m² of adhesive. Make sure the materials you’re working with have the moisture content of 8-12%, applying 3-5 kg/cm² pressure for a solid bond. MULTI-MATERIAL ADHESION. Suitable on PVC, ABS, acrylic, wood veneer, and decorative (melamine) paper and other edge banding materials on wood-based composites (WBC). Ensure all building materials are clean, dry, and have 8-10% moisture content. Keep the working area above 18°C. If colder than 15°C, warm the surfaces first. Close the hot glue melting pot lid to keep it clean. Lower the temperature if machine will be idle for more than 2 hours. For storage, store the hot glue bulk in a dry, cool place where the temperature is below 40°C. This will keep it effective for up to 2 years. GENERAL INFORMATION. Most edgebanding is applied using hot melt glue, with EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) adhesive as a versatile choice that works well with various materials. Including veneer edgebanding and ABS edgebanding. EVA's re-meltable property makes it forgiving and easy to use. For the best results, use an edgebanding machine for consistent glue application; industrial-sized/smaller machines and manual are also viable. Tips for Application (1) Apply appropriate temperature (2) Adjust speed for good flow and correct open time for strong bond. (3) Apply even pressure to the entire edgebanding width to avoid gaps and bubbles. (4) Use of enough glue to cover all areas for secure bond. Recommended Operating Conditions and Precaution: 1. For best bonding result, materials to be used must be free of dust, oil, grease and be dry. 2. wood moisture content should be at 8 - 10%. The minimum temperature of substrates and ambient air should not below 18 °C. Avoid draught. 3. Close the lid after filling up the glue pot, If machine downtime of more than 2 hours, dial down the temperature of glue pot, prevent from glue aging. 4. If ambient temperature is below 15 °C, warm up the surface of subtrate and edgebands (with industrial electric dryer or infrared heating) 5. Clean the glue pot routinely with cleaning wax agent, to prevent from charring, therefore affecting heat transfer from glue pot. 6. Measure temperature of the glue pot and on application roller (i.e. with Infrared Thermometer). Calibrate temperature control system if needed. 7. In application, visually inspect the glue roller to ensure it has even and adequate glue coverage and is free of dust.
