In 1970 I saw the cover of Life Magazine with the photo of a Snow Monkey in the onsen hot spring at Jigokudani, Japan and ever since I wanted to someday go there. In the winter when snow is all around the monkeys soak in the steamy, hot spring water. 54 pages.
