Originally published in 1913, Karl Alberti's German translation of 24 Japanese fairy tales is now available in English for the first time to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Many of these stories have never before been read by English-speaking audiences. Karl Alberti is the pen name of German writer and professor, Karl Albrecht Heise (1868-1930). He lived in Tokyo. Bradley Hall lives in Jacksonville, Florida and is an educator, writer, and historian.
