Created to be used in First Communion classes or by parents of children ages 4-8, this book provides, in simple language and with luminous full-color illustrations, the story of man's relationship with God beginning with his creation and ending in the bliss of heaven. Children will learn how, through the sin of our first parents, our relationship with God was damaged, and how in Christ it has been restored. The great gift of Christ's real presence in the Eucharist is shown to be the preeminent way by which we now are able to enjoy fellowship with Jesus. The book includes Scriptural references for each page of the story and endorsements by authors Fr. Dennis Billy, CSsR, and Danielle Bean. Eileen Cunis has been drawing and painting since she can remember. Since converting to Roman Catholicism as an adult, it has been her joy and hope to serve God and the Church through her artistic gifts. Eileen has a B.A. in English from Dartmouth College and her Masters in Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary and has served as a catechist in her parish since 1995. A mother of three and grandmother of five, she lives in the woods of New Hampshire with her husband David.
