In the country of Meridia, there are certain foreign nationals called Herans who migrated from their country to find a better life. The citizens of Meridia however are not very welcoming to Herans. Jhackie finds herself navigating life and high school in a land where her nationality is clearly not preferred along with her two best friends Minka and Javis. Once accepted into an advanced English class, Jhackie meets the sharp quick witted Max who happens to be the son of the Premier of the country. Can Jhackie's relationship with Max blossom into its full potential or will societal demands interfere
