An examination of how the Freeh Report and the NCAA unfaily punished Joe Paterno and the Penn State football program. Mr. Rita began his career as an auditor with the Federal goverment's General Accounting Office, now known as the Government Accountability Office (GAO). As a ceertified public accountant he spent ten years auditing and investigating federal activities and drafting reports to Congress and Congressional Committies. He served as Assistant Director for Special Audits and Investigations at the General Services Administration (GSA), and later as Director of Finance of that agency. Mr. Rita is a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
