Joe Vogler arrived in Alaska at the age of 29. He spent most of his time in the Fairbanks area. Joe was a colorful character who was not happy with the wording of the ballot when residents voted to move Alaska from Territorial status to Statehood. He could prove that Alaska was not offered the same choices as other territories. He was two weeks away from addressing the United Nations on this topic when he went missing. His body was discovered over a year later. Many questions remain and will probably never be answered about his death. This book looks at Joe’s life and his death.
