At the close of the Civil War, many areas like the deep Appalachian Mountains were caught in the conflict as bands of Union and Rebel soldiers crisscrossed and skirmished as the war languished in its last days. The people of these deep hollers had enjoyed decades of isolation and now found themselves victims of the times. But these new challenges were only added to the numerous ones they faced that all people groups have faced down through the centuries.The need for reconciliation between brothers began in the Garden of Eden and continues even today. This is the story of two sets of brothers who struggled with reconciliation, but with different outcomes, and the difference faith played in their lives.
