This is a story of a special life that ended way too soon. It takes a very special person to face the heartbreak Joe Marcum faced and never give up or give in. His story is told by me, his dad. Very few could have overcome what he did and he did it without drugs of any kind to help him forget the pain he felt acutely all his life, and I’ve shared for most of mine. My son did it with a personal strength few possess. I pray his reward is Heaven and all the love he left behind.
