He first hunted moose in Canada in the 1940s and recognized the need for a projectile that would stand up to the velocity generated by the new magnum rifle cartridges. You know his bullets, now read his story. John Nosler From an early age, John Nosler was a hunter. His passion for the outdoors drove him in his pursuit of the American Dream. Auto racing and mechanics taught him about machines. Running his own Ford dealership taught him about failure. Hauling produce out of Medford, Oregon, he finally tasted success. Today, John Nosler is one of the world's foremost bullet engineers and a hunter of renown. His bullets are used by the world's sportsmen on game from Africa to Alaska. His original design, the Nosler Partition, after 56 years in production, is still the standard by which all hunting bullets are judged. At the age of 91, John still goes into the office everyday. He lives with his wife Vivian in Bend, Oregon. They enjoy touring in their 1929 Model A Ford and spending time with grandchildren and old friends.
