The text is primarily taken from the Bible (World English Bible). Joseph is the favorite child in his family and therefore not well liked by his brothers. His brothers actually sell Joseph and he is taken to Egypt where he is sold as a slave, then falsely accused and sent to prison. Years later he is put in charge of the land of Egypt by Pharaoh in order to gather food to last through the coming years of famine. Joseph’s brothers come to Egypt to buy food and do not recognize Joseph, but are recognized by him. Joseph tests them, but forgives them. His family comes to live in Egypt, so Joseph is reunited with his father. The book ends with questions, a song to reinforce the story, and a closing prayer. The book can be used as a read-aloud story for Pre-Kindergarten or early elementary children.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
