This is a collection of chapters from Ratzinger specialists across the world explaining how Ratzinger engaged with a particular philosopher or philosophical tradition. This book is a sequel to the hugely successful 1st volume published in 2024. The rationale of this book is that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI remains a huge name in the world of Catholic theology and this work brings together a team of leading Ratzinger scholars from across the world to examine his engagements with the ideas of different philosophers. Its objective is to be a seminal work for graduate students in theology, especially those interested in the relationship between faith and reason.
