This work contains a documentation of the tradition of Joseph of Arimathea going to Glastonbury and the Holy Grail Allegory. It can function as a supplement to the 1871 work of Reverend Walter W. Keat M.A. called “ Joseph of Arimathie: Otherwise Called The Romance of the Seint Graal, or Holy Grail ”. This book contains modern English Renditions of the 4 following works translated from earlier English renderings: The Lyfe of Ioseph of Armathea by Richard Pynson (1520 AD) - Joseph of Aramathie by an anonymous Author (Cir. 1350 AD) - The Lyfe of Joseph of Armathy by Wynkyn de Worde (Cir. 1530 AD) - De Sancto Joseph Ab Arimathia by Richard Pynson (1516 AD) Keat included the original Middle English and Early Modern English renderings of these works in his book published 1871 with supplemental explanations or descriptions, but no direct translations into modern English, which I have included here, in a side by side comparison format, for the benefit of the casual reader.
