Planting your Crested Gecko enclosure with tropical plants is both visually appealing and a great way to simulate a natural environment for your pet. These animals love climbing and enjoy plants with wide leaves and sturdy stalks that can support their weight. We’ve selected a handful of plants for this kit that are considered basic, easy-to-care for plants that should thrive in your crested gecko vivarium. You will receive two plants of our choice sized for a 12x12x20 vivarium.

All plants will come labeled with their names and will be well-suited for your crested gecko vivarium.

Note: Dieffenbachia and Philodendron are only toxic if eaten. Crested geckos are omnivores in that they eat insects and fruits; however, they do not eat plants or stems in the wild. Therefore these plants are safe to be with them.
Josh's Frogs uses diffenbachia and philodendron for numerous insectivorous tropical and subtropical geckos and other lizards with no ill effects. The risk of these plants is extremely minimal; their benefits certainly outweigh it: the draping nature of philodendron is excellent for creating a crowded and natural hide in the corner or side of a tank, and diffenbachia is a great plant for both vertical and horizontal cover.
