Jump is a fast and funny thriller. Chris Caine is a ex-big league pitcher whos now a Sports Agent and a lawyer, although he brags that hes never been in a courtroom and he hires other lawyers to check his clients contracts. Hes a man with too much time on his hands and whose life is without any real challenge, that is until Kate Winters walks into his office and his life. Kates son Charlie is missing and she believes that Chris can find him. Chris disagrees but Kates beauty and tears convince him otherwise. Pretty soon Chris is up to his neck with men with long knifes and short tempers. Hes on journey that will test his heart and his courage. Finding Charlie becomes very important to Chris as he falls in love with Kate. But the bad guys keep getting in the way and Chris has to dodge them and find a boy that doesnt want to be found. The shocking finale will cause Chris to question everything he thought he knew about good and evil. Norm Berlin lives in Marin County CA, the home of Chris Caine, but unlike Chris Caine he never had Chris's fastball or his hair. Berlin does, however, have Chris's sense of humor.
