Each Jungle Gym Kingdom's welded, heavy- duty steel bracket is designed for two 4x4 treated posts, and one 4x6 treated post swing beam. These brackets include all wood screws and washers necessary to build your A-frame swingset. The hardware included is 3" lag screws and washers. We recommend using only treated lumber (not included) to build your Jungle Gym Kingdom A-frame swingset. The lumber needed is 4 - 4x4 treated posts for the legs and 1 - 4x6 treated post for the top beam. Using only treated lumber with Jungle Gym Kigdom's heavy duty swing set brackets will ensure a top quality swing set to enjoy. Jungle Gym Kingdom's brackets come with pre-drilled holes, and each Jungle Gym Kingdom steel bracket weighs approximately 10 pounds for maximum stability. Do not force lumber into the bracket, it should slide into the bracket with little force. If your treated lumber is still wet and “swollen”, it may create a tight fit in the bracket. If your treated lumber is dry, the wood will be easier to fit in the bracket. Once in the bracket and screws are fastened, the lumber should have a snug fit. NOT INCLUDED: The treated lumber, Jungle Gym Kingdom swings, Jungle Gym Kingdom swing hangers, and Jungle Gym Kingdom trapeze shown in the images to the left are not included with your purchase of Jungle Gym Kingdom swing set brackets and mounting hardware. Jungle Gym Kingdom Swing Set Brackets are each a one piece heavy-duty steel design with welded seams providing you confident, strong, and safe construction. Each 10 pound bracket is powder coated green with 14 pre-drilled holes securing each bracket with 3" lag bolts and washers. Jungle Gym Kingdom's bracket is specifically designed for pressure treated 4x4 legs and 4x6 header, so you may easily construct your A-frame swing set. Easily slide your bracket on to each end of the 4x6 treated header, through the pre-drilled holes secure the header with provided lag screws, then slide your 4x4 treated lumber on to each of the bracket legs through the pre-drilled holes and also secure with provided lag screws. The header and legs should both easily slide in to the bracket and secured with the provided 3" lag screws providing a secure fit. If your treated wood is still wet and "swollen" then it may be a bit too large, so you may have to plane the wood slightly so it will fit in the bracket. If your treated wood is dry, it will not be "swollen" and easier to fit.
