Unlucky in love, pretty nurse Jen Bradley is a faithful and plucky newcomer to mission work in the sometimes-dangerous Amazonia region of Brazil. Grieving widow and former Special Forces solider John Shaw is a disgruntled missionary bush pilot preparing to leave the mission field and use his considerable military skills for profit rather than serving the poor and the lost. On what is for John a last mission of mercy, the two find themselves stranded together alone deep in an uncharted and unexplored section of the Amazon, a territory known to be inhabited by a fierce and legendary tribe known as Pessoas De Gato.
