Application: Widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance vehicles, line counting, and black and white line tracking. Effective Distance: Range from 2 to 30 centimeters. Features

When the module detects an obstacle in front of the signal, the green indicator light on the board turns on, and the OUT port continuously outputs a low signal. The detection distance of the module is 2 - 30 cm. The detection angle is 35°. The detection distance can be adjusted by the potentiometer. Turning the potentiometer clockwise increases the detection distance, and counterclockwise decreases it.

The sensor uses active infrared reflection detection. The target reflectivity and shape affect the critical detection distance. The minimum detection distance is for black objects, and the maximum is for white objects. Small objects in small areas have a shorter detection distance than large objects in large areas.

The output port of the sensor module can be directly connected to the microcontroller IO or can directly drive a 5V relay. Connection: VCC - VCC; GND - GND; OUT - IO.

Comparator LM393 ensures stability.

The module can use a 3 - 5V DC power supply. When the power is turned on, the red power indicator light turns on.

3mm screw holes for easy fixed installation.

Board size: 3.2cm * 1.4cm.

Each module is shipped with the threshold comparator voltage well adjusted by the potentiometer. Do not adjust the potentiometer under normal circumstances.

PIN Description

VCC: 3.3V - 5V external voltage (can be directly connected to 5V and 3.3v MCU).

GND: External GND.

OUT: Small board digital output interface (0 and 1).
