Kent State University student massacre May 4, 1970. Letters from students present at the demonstrations and subsequent student killings by US National Guardsmen. English teacher, on faculty at Kent State at the time, gave her students the opportunity to write to her about their feelings of what happened on campus at Kent State on that infamous day.
