Relationship with God the Holy spirit manifested in dance unto the Lord, is an overflow of the relationship we have with the Lord. A sacred romance is encountered and we are strengthened in our walk with the Lord. In the book of Genesis we see a powerful relationship between God and His people. God loved man and created us in His image and likeness to worship Him (See Genesis 1:1-15). The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in guiding, empowering, and transforming believers into the image of Christ. The Role of the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit empowers us to live lives that are pleasing to God. He convicts us of sin, leads us into truth, and helps us pray according to God’s will. And by surrendering to the leading of the Holy Spirit we can experience transformation and growth in our relationship with God ( See 2 Cor 13:14, Acts 2 :38). Cultivating Intimacy with God Developing an intimate relationship with the Lord requires intentional effort and willingness to surrender to His will. Spending time in prayer, studying His word and listening to the holy Spirits' promptings we can deepen our connection with the Lord and experience His presence in a tangible way. Understanding the Role of a Minstrel in Dance & Worship Before we delve into the importance of preparation it is essential to understand the role of a minstrel of dance in the church. As a Minstrel of Dance your primary responsibility is to lead the congregation in dance through movement and expression. Secondly your role is to create an atmosphere of reverence and praise allowing the congregation to connect with God in a deeper way. And remember you cannot take someone in to a place in worship where you have not been yourself. Nothing can be more harmful to the Body of Christ than allowing the devil to divide us as children of God, steal from us, and kill us as sons of God, but Christ hath come that we might have life and have it more abundantly ( See John 10: 9-11). When we as christians lack knowledge and cannot rightly divide the word of God the enemy conquers us. So many can sense the spirit of God calling them into ministry and calling them to use their talents for him but do not know where to go to express their gifts. Because of this many are led astray and follow after delinquent and derelict ways that foster regrets, rejection, bitterness, anger, malice, and some are even lost eternally. God is able to deliver you and I from the enemy’s grip. He used the dance, praise and worship as instruments which have fought against the handiwork of the devil. Remember the shouts of the children of Israel as they marched around the Jericho walls. Our mouths and voices, our feet, our hands are instruments of righteousness for destruction, and devastation to satan's kingdom. The Lord of Host is our shield and battle axe amen and amen. But thou art holy that inhabits the praises of Israel ( Psalms 22:3).And they worshipped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. (Luke 24:52-53, Psalms 150: 1-4, Psalms 149: 3, 8-9). Let them praise His name in the dance. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all His saints. Praise ye the Lord (See Psalm 149:3, 6-9). Thirdly, David blessed the people in the name of the Lord. The Armor of God Ephesians Ch. 6 Kingdom citizens, dance ministers, dancers we must hold fast to the armor of God. Paul the Apostle placed remarkable emphasis on the Armor of God according to Ephesians six. The use of the Armor is a force that protects us, and helps us to see and discern the lies of the devil so that we are not( See Eph 6:12). This book is a remarkable combination of bibical truth that aligns dance principles for the unfolding of a dynamic ministry of dance. There is clarity and simplicity offered through the chapters that bring a reflection of a sincere authors' view. This however, makes simple very diverse terminologies. Kingdom Dance Ministry also offers numerous biblical highlights that captions the historical stans and compares them to present day Christian living standards. The Authors' aim in writing this book was to be expository in her approach in highliting many differing facts on the Origional Principals of Dance. This was also to pursuade readers who may have had a negative view on varing dance forms used in Praise and Worship. This book also relates to the Authors' most recent book: Possess The Prophetic Gates: Goshen, and Unleashing the Power, since it holds certain prophetic insights for which the Author encountered and the Prophetic highlights on her first Publication in November, 2024.
