Since I’m Jewish many of the Oscar cartoons have a Jewish motif. My birds have Jewish names; Shana Maidel, Yentel Feigle, Chaim, a.k.a. Charly, and Bubbee who are the inspiration for Oscar and my cartoons along with my wife’s birds; Cheddar, Hollyberry, Toibe, Tiny, and Caesar. The 67 cartoons herein are the result. Kiss Me I’m Kosher, is the much requested sixth Oscar book of select Oscar cartoons around a Jewish theme. With celebrations of High holy days to just plain Oscar kvetching and noshing. I’ve had people write me and say that they hear Mel Brooks’ voice when they read Oscar’s words. Well, I do too when I write them. LOL. To those who requested this book, I thank you for the inspiration and motivation to write it. I hope you enjoy the cartoons I’ve selected. Shalom Aleichem.
