When my best friend unwittingly walks in on me in the shower, our platonic dynamic goes down the drain. Dan has golden retriever energy. We’re polar opposites, sunshine and rain. I should’ve known moving in with him would throw a kink in my plans to be grouchy and alone. He makes me smile way too much. After getting cheated on by my high school sweetheart last year, I started spiraling, and I almost failed three classes. I will not be falling in love any time soon, not until after I graduate. I do, however, need a rebound—no strings attached. (Preferably someone damaged and heartless like me.) Dan wants to lose his virginity and find a sweet, bubbly girlfriend before graduation, and I signed up to be his wingwoman. It shouldn’t be too hard, considering he’s the golden boy. Everything was going just fine until that steamy afternoon when I borrowed his shower, he walked in, and now he’ll never be able to look at that removable showerhead the same way again. Or me. Kissing Friends is a dual POV, best friends/roommates to lovers, bull rider/cowboy, reverse grumpy x sunshine, opposites attract, forced proximity, male v-card love story with no cheating and a happily-ever-after ending. It is book four in the Good Ol' Boys Series, but can be read as a complete standalone. Previously published under the name Mj Hendrix. REVIEWS: Lucy and Dan are next level! Lucy is coming out of a traumatic relationship and wants to get back out there but not in a serious relationship. Dan wants to lose his virginity so they make a pact to help each other out. The tension between them is there and continues to grow. They are such good friends, and don’t want to jeopardize that. Dan is the perfect man already so in tune with Lucy. You can’t help but root for him the whole time. -JESSICA Dan is the last man standing of his friends from his home town. The other three friends are paired off with women that they love and here he is still a virgin at the age of 23. He gets friend zone by so many he is beginning to think he has a problem. Lucy just got out of a really bad relationship which caused her to almost fail three of her courses. She decided she was going to stay single until she graduates from college. Dan and Lucy are now roommates as their past roommates are together. Dan is happy go lucky always smiling. Lucy is grouchy. He wants to lose his virginity snd I just want a rebound with no strings attached. They decided to help each other find what they want. MJ did it again with this book. Each of the guys in the “Good Ol’ Boys” series I fell in love with but in every book I always was drawn to Dan. I think Dan is my new book boyfriend. -BOOKMOM1213 I am so sad to see this series end, no one will ever do good boys like MJ <3 In this one we finally get to see Dan and Lucy. Dan is the last of his friends to be single and he decides that he is ready to lose his virginity, and Lucy who is working through a traumatic relationship ending wants something with no strings....so they make a pact. Dan and Lucy are roommates so we get alll the tension between them. Their chemistry was so good, you could tell from the first page how much they cared about each other. The whole book I just wanted to give Lucy the biggest hug. I loved seeing Dan try to help Lucy overcome her trauma, it was nice seeing him pick up on her cues for how he should handle situations instead of steamroll her. Seeing their relationship develop was my favorite, they were so in tune. Now although Dan could be the sweetest, he was also a bull riding, dirty talking, taking charge kinda guy under that good guy exterior I am sad this series is over but I am so excited to see what MJ has up her sleeve next <3 -LAURA
