This low-profile cast aluminum oil pan is designed to be used with GM #12558253 windage tray, which needs to be modified to provide clearance for the pick-up tube. To ensure clearance for the pick-up tube, a modification to the windage tray is necessary when using this cast aluminum oil pan. Alternatively, a full-length windage tray can be used if the front quarter of the tray is removed.
