Leader is a fantastic and rare surviving example of a Brixham gaff rigged ketch fishing vessel, which built by A W Gibbs’s Galmpton Creek boat yard which was on the River Dart in Devon, UK. Leader was built in 1892 for William Robbens for £1,100. In Leader’s later years, she was still used for fishing (in Scandinavian waters) between 1907 and 1927. This book contains a one-page biography of the historic sailing vessel Leader with a Leader logbook stamp, also included are photographs from on deck, below deck and whilst under sail.
