After retirement, I desired to get nearer to my God. But how? In springtime, I began going outside to sit in a silver-gray weathered wooden chair. I reflected and prayed in the quiet morning as I read the Word and journaled Scriptures that touched my seeking heart, coffee warm and fragrant at my side. Birds sang the glories of God and the day lilies opened as the sun caressed each orange petal. I wrote out blessings from the Bible seasoned by a new gift of creative writing hidden until this time in my life. My fingers danced across the keyboard, creating analogies to teach, inspire, or comfort the seeking soul. Grateful for the God-given gift of writing, I started a blog called, "Prayer Chair Share Time." What joy to meet readers who enjoy the Scripture-inspired devotionals poured out from the overflow of my heart. My desire is to reach those who need to laugh or cry even as we praise God for His gifts to His children, the redeemed of the Lord. Welcome to ponderings and prayers from my prayer chair. I have a seat waiting here for you.
