A donkey decides to leave its master and travel to Bremen, town of music. Other animals join him along the way: a dog, a cat and a cock. They all want to go to Bremen and become musicians. It’s nighttime, the journey is long and the animals are famished… Un âne, fatigué de porter de lourds sacs de blé jusqu’au moulin, quitte son maître et s’en va à Brême, la cité de la musique. En chemin, il rencontre un chien, un chat et un coq. Ils veulent tous aller à Brême pour devenir des musiciens…
