Let's Pretend is a rhyming black and white printed coloring book. The cute illustrations and fun rhymes bring the reader along as children imagine themselves to be everything from astronauts to animals. In the end, they realize that the best thing to be is who they already are. As with all of the Popping Wheelies Picture Books and Coloring Books, special needs and disabilities are portrayed in the art while never being mentioned in the text. This book has been lovingly created by the mother of a son who loved to pretend and who lived with Duchenne muscular dystrophy in the hope of sharing encouragement, understanding, acceptance, and joy.
