This book is the story of my life from childhood to the present day as a senior citizen. Follow along with me through all the good times as a child an adult and as a senior citizen. I have tried to compare the events in my life to the act of picking chocolate pieces from a box. Some were good and some not so good. Now retired I seem to pick more bad pieces than good. Come along with me and see if I can help you evaluate your life and recall some fond memories of your own. Lloyd J. Goddard was born and raised in Fitzgerald, Georgia and now resides in Tazewell, Virginia. Both are small towns similar in size with about the same population. Lloyd is for the most part self educated, having left school early to join The U.S. Air Force. He has held several positions over the years, the most lucrative being that of a Mechanical Designer for a Mining and Industrial Power Equipment Manufacturer for more than twenty years. He is Married to his wife and soul mate of forty-five years, Martha. This is his first experience as an author, but he has a children's book in the works which should be available soon. Now in his seventies he is burdened with Leukemia and Diabetes and vows not to let that keep him down.
