Little Lambkin has lots of toys, but all she really wants is her small, soft, but very dirty comfort blanket. She never lets it go—until Ducky comes over for a playdate and gently helps Lambkin give up her beloved blankie and join in the fun. Bernette Ford has written many books for children, including The Magical Snowflake, First Snow, and Ballet Kitty for Boxer Books. A publisher for many years, she also worked as a children's book packager through her company, Color-Bridge Books. She lived in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband, George Ford, an award-winning illustrator. After her death in 2021, an award in her name is to be established in 2024.
