This historical fiction book chronicles three generations of a family, based on memories and stories passed down by relatives. The author added plausible stories with the known events to explain why subsequent generations reacted and behaved the way they did. The book was written to investigate whether similar character traits, skills, abilities, talents, and personalities have been passed down through generations. As the author, I was curious about what I might have in common with my ancestors. Since I do not have a complete history for all of my clan, I filled in the gaps with my best guess as to what might have happened to my ancestors, which may or may not explain my makeup.
