This new slotted rack design is an upgrade from my Original Light Rack. The new design has slots for great light mounting options. These racks are specifically designed for the new 2019+ Mercedes Gen 3 Sprinter vans but it can also be mounted on the previous Mercedes Gen 2 NCV3 sprinter vans from 2006-2018. These racks are made of thick quarter inch plate and 11 gauge 6061 T6 structural aluminum. The rack supports round or bar lights and has 30" of available mounting space. Installation is a breeze and the rack is held in place with the provided two M8 black stainless tamper resistant screws in the front step. So no shop is required for installation and I include the bolts, washers and L wrench. The racks are all designed around and do not impact the forward looking camera, radar or parking sensors. I have a 2019 4x4 Sprinter and verified total functionality. Sold over 40+ racks to customers around the US and Canada with total satisfaction. All these racks also fit Gen 2 Mercedes Sprinters (2006-2018 NCV3) and yes you can install lights but they need to be under 4" in height. So bar lights work great on NCV3 vans. The height restriction is due to the protruding front grill. The rack receives a black textured powder coating. The powder process includes sand blasting, chemical clean, a coat of epoxy primer and then the top powder coat for maximum impact resistance and durability.
