This book uses a mnemonic, CAGES, to examine ways the devil tries to trap us in self-doubt. C stands for criticism, and encompasses the criticism we may feel from ourselves or from others. A stands for avatars, the personas we sometimes put on instead of finding our full confidence in Jesus. G stands for ground view, a trap that keeps us from pressing on to what lies ahead. E stands for emotions, and we will dive into tools that keep us from being tricked and trapped by our human emotions. S stands for saboteurs, parts of our personality that may try to sabotage our walk with Christ. Praise God, we don't have to choose the caged life any longer! We have been freed and chosen to be the lighthouses of hope that guide others and tell them the storm won’t take them down. This book is the proof of His rescue.
