Cahall is currently a Professor of Historical Theology and Academic Dean at the Pontifical College Josephinum, in Columbus, Ohio, where he teaches Dogmatic Theology and Church History. Prior to holding his position at the Josephinum, Dr. Cahall was an Assistant Professor of Theology at Ohio Dominican University, also in Columbus, Ohio, for four years. Among the courses Dr. Cahall regularly teaches at the Josephinum are Pastoral Care of Marriage and Family. He has also taught Marriage and Orders as an adjunct professor at The Liturgical Institute of the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. While at Ohio Dominican, Dr. Cahall taught a course to undergraduates called Theology of Marriage. Dr. Cahall has been involved in preparing couples for marriage in his own parish and diocese for several years and he frequently gives talks on marriage, natural family planning, and the theology of the body.
