I have, as clearly as possible, recorded the dates of all developments and of all developers taken from Articles of Incorporation for both Lost Lakes and Northwest Lakes communities. While Lost Lakes is one community with two (2) separate developments, (Lost Lakes and Northwest), Northwest itself has nearly double the number of units. Lost Lakes is now responsible for its original boundaries, in addition to the two- lane entrance to the community going north and south. The Activities Board was not always able to fund necessary additions and repairs without assistance from residents in fundraising endeavors. Each of the two boards and the JUC Committee have worked diligently to maintain and update our community assets as needs arise. It appears that sufficient funds are available for future development and restoration of existing infrastructure. Special thanks to Roseann Moore and Linda Miklosovic, both long term past presidents, for corrections to factual information. Having been a resident/owner in the community for approximately 19 years, my personal impression of the community is that the condition and integrity of both communities has been well maintained through various projects. I believe that Mr. Stephen Gray would be pleased that his vision of a community for retirees that was affordable while providing a luxury life style and community support has thrived. As a final thought, I have long believed that the key to happy co-existence is not to be part of the problem, but rather to be part of the solution. - Hazel Toomey
