Felecia Finch's love of fashion is awakened, like a glimmer of hope, dulling the grief of losing her mother and lessening the chaos that followed. With the possibility of applying to the Junior Teen Fashion Camp renewed and the start of 8th grade, she begins to feel her old self is within reach. But Felecia's good mood and new normal is threatened when an old love note she wrote in 6th grade becomes the topic of gossip, making Felecia the target of another student's unhealthy obsession.
