I've allowed these characters to develop strong bonds of trust over a matter of days.   This does not happen in real life where you, my amazing reader, live. Take more time in your romance and learn who you're giving a piece of your heart to. I urge you to move with caution.   In my books, in particular, we explore and enjoy the thrill of a  great love story,  beginning with that very first look , that first flare of arousal, and follow our characters as that attraction blooms into the  love of a lifetime.   In romantic suspense,  we add in edge-of-your-seat thrills, nail-biting suspense, and can't-stop-reading-gotta-get-to-the-end excitement. This means there's danger, suspense, heroic rescues, and unsavory characters;  aka bad guys who need to get taken down.    I deal with difficult situations in my books, including kidnapping and captivity, which ultimately result in  rescue and freedom . For sensitive readers, some topics explored in my books may be trigger-worthy.
