A less than reassuring guarantee: “Those we condemn are not innocent… God would not allow it.” ...and a foolproof solution: "Therefore in their case the remedies to be used are those exposed in the Third Part of this work, which deals with the extermination of witches by the secular arm of the law". Innocent? Maybe... "And it is often found that witnesses, moved by malice and overcome by enmity, have conspired together to accuse an innocent person of the sin of heresy; but afterwards, by frequent entreaty of the Bishop and his officers, their consciences have been struck with remorse and, by divine inspiration, they revoked their testimony and confessed that they had maliciously attributed that crime to the accused. Therefore the prisoner in this case must not be hastily condemned, but must be detained for a year or more before to be handed over to the secular tribunal". "Now the wickedness of women is described in Ecclesiasticus xxv: There is no head above the head of a serpent, and there is no wrath above the wrath of a woman. I would rather dwell with a lion and a dragon than be at home with a wicked woman. And among the much that precedes and follows in that place on wicked women, he concludes: All wickedness is little for the wickedness of a woman. Therefore St. John Chrysostom says in the text: It is not good to marry (St. Matthew xix): What else is woman but an enemy of friendship, an inevitable punishment, a necessary evil, a natural temptation, a desirable calamity, a domestic danger, a delightful harm, an evil of nature, painted in beautiful colours! Therefore, if it is a sin to divorce her when she should be preserved, it is indeed a necessary torture; for either we commit adultery by divorcing her, or we have to endure daily struggles. Cicero in his second book of the Rhetoric says: The many lusts of men lead them in one sin, but the lust of women leads them into all sins; because the root of all woman's vices is greed. And Seneca says in his Tragedies: A woman either loves or hates; there is no third possibility. And a woman's tears are a deception, because they can arise from real pain, or they can be a trap. When a woman thinks for herself, she thinks badly." ...And what then to think of those witches who in this way sometimes collect male organs in large numbers, up to twenty or thirty limbs together, and place them in a bird's nest, or lock them in a chest, where they move as living limbs, and they eat oats and corn, as has been seen by many and is common news? It must be said that it is all the work of the devil and illusion, because the senses of those who see them are deluded in the way we have said. In fact, a certain man says that, when he had lost her member, he approached a well-known witch to ask her to give it back to him. He told the afflicted one to climb a certain tree, and that he could take what he liked from the nest in which there were several members. And when he tried to take a big one, the witch said: You must not take that; adding, because it belongs to a parish priest... ...Question IX If the Witches can operate some sleight of hand Illusion so that the Male Organ appears completely removed and separated from the Body. Here the truth about the diabolical operations towards the male organ is declared. And to clarify the facts in this matter, it is asked whether witches can with the help of devils truly and effectively remove the member, or whether they do so only apparently by some charm or illusion.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
