This kit fits most Evinrude Johnson 2 cylinder 2-stroke 40 - 48 - 50 HP models from 1989 up to 2005. 

These models have the gas assist tilt or trim cylinder feature operated by a lever on the side of the mounting bracket or single ram power trim integrated inside the mounting brackets.
