BTS7960 motor driver module
Model: BTS7960
Input voltage: 6V-27V
Current: 43A
Input level: 3.3-5V
Control mode: PWM or level
Duty cycle: 0-100%
This driver uses a full H-bridge driver module composed of a high-power driver chip BTS7960, which has overheating and overcurrent protection functions. The dual BTS7960 H-bridge driver circuit has a strong driving and braking effect, effectively isolating the microcontroller from the motor drive! High current 43A!
BTS7960 features:
1. Dual BTS7960 high current (43A) drive;
2. Isolation from MCU 5V, effectively protecting MCU;
3. Able to realize motor forward and reverse rotation, two PWM inputs with a maximum frequency of 25kHZ;
4. Two overcurrent and overheating error signal outputs;
5. Isolation chip 5V power supply (can share 5V with MCU);
6. Power supply voltage 5.5V to 27V;
Input port:
1.R_PWM: forward level or PWM signal input, high level is valid
2.L_PWM: reverse Level or PWM signal input, high level is valid
3.R_EN: forward drive enable input, high level enables, low level turns off
4.L_EN: reverse drive enable input, high level enables, low level turns off
5.R_IS: forward drive current alarm output
6.L_IS: reverse drive current alarm output
7.VCC: +5V power supply output, connected to 5V power supply of microcontroller
8.GND: signal common low end
Usage:
Method 1:
VCC connects to 5V power supply of microcontroller, GND connects to GND of microcontroller.
REN and L_EN are short-circuited and connected to 5V level, the driver can work.
L_PWM, input PWM signal or high level motor forward
R_PWM, input PWM signal or high level motor reverse
Method 2:
VCC connects to 5V power supply of microcontroller, GND connects to GND of microcontroller.
R_EN and L_EN are short-circuited and connected to input PWM signal speed control.
L_PWM, 5V level input, motor forward rotation
R_PWM, 5V level input, motor reverse rotation
