The town of Willow Creek rested quietly against the foothills of the Rockies, as if it had chosen that spot long ago and never saw a reason to leave. A narrow creek wound its way through the cottonwoods, whispering over smooth stones, while Main Street carried on much the same way it had for generations—unhurried, familiar, and kind. People in Willow Creek knew one another. They waved from passing trucks, held doors a second longer than necessary, and spoke in the easy shorthand of shared lives. Nothing much stayed secret for long. Except, perhaps, how Maggie Delaney knew the things she knew. The bell above the door of Maggie’s Table gave its usual soft jingle as another customer stepped inside. The diner smelled of fresh coffee, warm bread, and something sweet cooling behind the counter. Sunlight filtered through the front windows, catching the polished edges of the booths worn smooth by decades of elbows and conversation. Maggie stood behind the counter, just as she had for over thirty years. Her hair, once dark as river stone, now carried streaks of silver, pulled back in a loose bun that never quite held by the end of a long shift. Her hands moved with quiet certainty—pouring coffee, setting plates down without looking, refilling cups just before they ran dry. She didn’t need to ask most people what they wanted. She already knew.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
